Robbie has been walking in the pool at physical therapy for the past few days.  He really enjoys it and it is helping his hip get back to moving again.  Betsy has been begging to go watch him, so today the kids and I went.  We even got a science lesson out of it, talking about how Dad can walk in the water because of the weightlessness as opposed to the land, when gravity is at work.  Here are some pictures:

  1. I so remember my aqua therapy, and I loved it! Of course, I was like Robbie, in that I loved ANY therapy b/c it was a chance to get out of the house! In fact, when I was given permission to start driving myself to therapy (with my left foot!) I just cruised the streets of Jonesboro with my radio blasting for about an hour after that therapy session. I hadn’t been left alone for four months and it was just so wonderful to have a glimpse of independance again! I’m glad Robbie is getting this chance to get out of the house. It’s good for his sanity! 😉

  2. That is great !!!! We don’t always appreciate independence until we become dependent . I am thrilled to see Robbie walking . God bless and love to all , Judy
