Robbie is out of the o.r. and is sleeping.  We haven’t seen the doctor yet, so we aren’t sure if this will be the last time they have to take him in to clean out his back wound or not.  Although he is ready to be home and we are very ready to have him home, we trust that the doctors are doing what is in Rob’s best interest and what will ensure him the best recovery.  Thank you for your prayers.  I hate to sound like a broken record, but this back wound is the main focus right now.  His physical therapy is going well and he is ready to get back in shape.  When the wound is where they want it, we will be moving along more quickly.  Thank you again for your prayers and encouragement.  We are sustained by them throughout each day.

  1. Stacey,
Talked to Lisa today and she said you are doing well but are really tired…Hang in there…Robbie is doing so well and we are rejoicing and thanking God with you…I agree with you about how humbling it is to watch the “Body of Christ” come together for a “fallen” loved one…You and Robbie were such a source of strength for us several years ago and we continue to watch how the love of Christ transcends all heartache in times of trial. Thank you for being a wonderful example of love. I wish I could just take a “shift” for you and handle all of your responsibilities if only for a day…I will do that…whatever you need…consider it done…just a phone call away. Remember to take care of you, ok. We pray that Robbie will be released just as soon as his body is ready. Maggie would love to have Betsy over for a playdate anytime. She misses seeing her at school. I look forward to hearing more good news from the Johnson family!

Happy Belated Birthday Nate! You are so blessed to have such wonderful parents and I know they are going to celebrate your birthday in “style” when the whole family is together again…just think another reason to eat cake all over again!!!

    Big Hugs,
    Stacey

  2. I would say prayers and encouragement are easy for us to supply to you. Your family has the hard part!
Continuing to pray for you and yours, and always encouraging! Praying that homeward bound will be very, very soon!
